SMC is "working on innovative relationships with, believe it or not, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, and some other places you wouldn't think of as traditional spacefaring nations," says Gen. DT Thompson, Space Force vice.

The newest branch of the armed services has just one member: Gen. Jay Raymond, the Space Force chief. Making him less lonely will take some heavy legislative lifting.
Partnerships with outside industry are a cornerstone of the kingdom’s ambitious growth strategy.
"The external and internal communication regarding [DoD] smallsat strategy is not consistent and not clear," Carissa Christensen, CEO of Bryce Space and Technologies, said wryly.
The Air Force can't regulate civilian satellites. The White House wants the Commerce Department to do it. But Democrats say FAA.
